Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sheel customer application and the Sheel Admin merchant application (together, the "Apps"), operated by Sheel ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Sheel is an ordering platform that connects customers with restaurants and home-based food businesses ("Merchants") in Bahrain. We provide the technology that lets Merchants present a menu and accept orders. We are not the seller of the food and are not responsible for the preparation, quality, pricing, or fulfilment of any order, which is the sole responsibility of the Merchant.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be old enough under the laws of your country to form a binding contract.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Personal Information → Delete Account.

3. Orders & Payment

• Placing an order submits a request to the Merchant, who may accept or reject it.
• Prices, fees, and availability are set by each Merchant and may change at any time.
• Any payment, refund, or cancellation is handled according to the Merchant's policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Apps for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Submit false orders or impersonate another person.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Upload content that is offensive, infringing, or violates the rights of others.

5. Merchant Responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for the accuracy of their menus, prices, and business information, for complying with all applicable food-safety and licensing regulations, and for handling customer data received through the platform responsibly.

6. Intellectual Property

The Apps, including their design, logos, and software, are owned by Sheel and protected by applicable laws. Merchant logos and menu content remain the property of the respective Merchant.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Apps are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sheel is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from any transaction between you and a Merchant.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Apps if these Terms are violated. You may stop using the Apps and delete your account at any time.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
